	Born into a normal middle class family, Gangapuram Kishan Reddy started his political career as a party worker (Karya Kartha) of the Bharatiya Janata Party and went on to become the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha which has more than 2 core members. Kishan Reddy is known to his constituents and friends as a determined, hardworking and diligent individual, who works untiringly to improve the standard of living for the people living in his constituency. His pragmatic policies and commitment to the party’s core ideology has won Mr. Reddy a great support base amongst the youth, women and the poor.
Mr. Reddy has selflessly worked for the past 27 years in and is seen as a true Leader and an inspiration to the youth. Kishan Reddy joined the party in 1980 when it was formed from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. To this date Mr. Reddy displays the same enthusiasm as he seeks to build the party at the ground level. Mr. Kishan Reddy has played a key-role in establishing the party in Andhra Pradesh and strongly believes in the adage “Practice what you preach”. Since the formation of the BJP in 1980 Kishan Reddy was actively involved and played a key role in all party conferences and movements. He was able to show his intrepid nature and fearless attitude and worked very hard in addressing issues that were affecting the common man.
